That builds skills and lasting friendships

During the school year, Girls Inc. offers a variety of program options after school for girls ages 6 to 18, complete with a transportation option from Hamblen County schools to our program center in Morristown.

Our program cost is variable based on family needs

A $30 membership fee is required with completed paperwork to enroll. This membership deposit is always applied to the total program balance depending on the option your family chooses.

For an additional fee, we can provide safe and supervised transport from any school to our program center so that she can participate in our afterschool programs. Girls need to be picked up by either a parent or a parent-approved guardian at the center by 6 pm.

Girls Inc. afterschool programming is a fun mix of social time, recreation and educational activities that are grade-level appropriate. We use

research-based national programs that include STEM activities, leadership-building skills, arts and literacy, and physical and mental wellbeing along with targeted local programming to meet girl needs.

In addition to regular recreational and educational program offerings, Girls Inc. provides a homework lab with caring staff and volunteers ready to assist girls who may need extra focus in subject areas or quiet time to work on school assignments. The lab also has available Chromebooks ready for any girl who has digital assignments to complete.

No girl needs to ever miss out on being a part of Girls Inc.! If you have financial challenges, just speak with our program director and she'll work with you to make sure that cost is never a barrier.

Summertime is STILL
FUN TIME at Girls Inc.

Summertime at Girls Inc. will certainly look different this summer, but will still be brimming with fun! Due to constraints on gatherings, we have had to limit the number of girls we can serve in the building. This has given us the opportunity to expand our program options to include Zoom and other video platforms to connect with girls who are home right now. The Big Red Girls Inc. van will hit the road once again and girls will be able to participate in scheduled Zoom meetings with girls and staff for virtual fun and human connection.

While off-property trips will be at a minimum this summer, not a day will go by where girls do not get new experiences as we try out new, hands-free sports, create artistic masterpieces, and learn about the greatest women who ever lived.
